Commemorative targets

The use of commemorative targets (in German called "Schützenscheiben") is baed on a tradition of German shooting clubs at the beginning of the 17th century and it is continued to this day. Typically these targets are large painted wooden discs that commemorate special festivities for the club, such as a significant anniversary or the annual crowning of the club?s shooting king or queen or an anniversary (e.g. 25 year membership).
